Hello, I’m Lucy. Today, I’m introducing a beloved unagi spot in Nagoya—
Ichibiki (イチビキ), just a 9-minute walk from Nagoya Station 🚶♀️🍚 Known for over 80 years, this long-standing restaurant is famous for its charcoal-grilled premium unagi bowls.
Each eel is grilled to perfection—crispy and fragrant on the outside, tender and fluffy inside. The rich flavor and high quality of the eel are truly unforgettable. Their Special Unagi Don is priced at ¥5,000, with four bowl sizes to choose from. They also offer a popular hitsumabushi option.
Due to its massive popularity, the restaurant uses a
ticket system in the morning, and evening reservations must be made a day in advance.
