Hello, I’m Lucy. Today I’m excited to share a plant-based twist on a Japanese favorite—
Vegetable Gyoza (Vegan). These dumplings are packed with flavor, incredibly satisfying, and perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a meatless option without compromising taste.
Ingredients: Firm tofu 🍱, shiitake mushrooms 🍄, bamboo shoots 🎋, chives 🌿, garlic 🧄, ginger 🫚, gyoza wrappers 🥟, soy sauce 🧂, rice vinegar 🍶, sesame oil 🌰
Quick Prep: Finely chop all veggies and tofu to form a meatball-like texture. Mix with seasoning until well combined. Spoon mixture into gyoza wrappers and pleat carefully
—it may look tricky at first, but it gets easier with practice! Pan-sear until the bottoms are golden, then steam with hot water for soft, chewy tops. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil for an extra crispy finish.
Each bite delivers a mix of crispy edges, soft tops, and a rich umami filling that’s totally satisfying. “Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—these are dangerously addictive!”
