Chloe here! I just stumbled upon this video, and I had to share it with you all.
It's a must-watch if you're a Britney fan like me! The video highlights the top 10 interviews with Britney Spears that hit differently after reading her memoir. I couldn’t help but reflect on how much the media and those closest to her failed her.
One of the most powerful comments I saw was: "Diane Sawyer owes Britney at minimum a public apology. There is absolutely no reason to be that cruel to anyone." The way Britney handled herself in those interviews with such grace and poise makes it even more heartbreaking to watch now.
Trust me, you don’t want to miss this one. Check out the full video in the comments below 👇🔗
User1: Diane Sawyer owes Britney at minimum a public apology. There is absolutely no reason to be that cruel to anyone.
User2: How we haven't lost her is an actual miracle.
User3: The world failed Britney Spears… her family, the media, her entourage, the justice system… nobody was there to protect her, defend her or support her.
I’m so sorry for everything she had to go through. She deserved better.
User4: She was so polite and kind and never lost her cool and humiliated anyone. She's so strong, more than people give her credit for. Whatever she has become, however she's acting, I get it. Praying her to find her happy.
User5: Britney’s a class act, we all would’ve dragged Diane across the room if she spoke to us like that, let’s be honest, Britney’s too nice for this world.
User6: Her responses in interviews were ALWAYS on the high road.. and THOUGHTFUL and INSIGHTFUL. In hindsight, it’s even more obvious just how well she handled herself and it’s so upsetting what happened to her because of those closest to her.
User7: Real question: Has Diane Sawyer ever addressed the Britney interview? It really colored my perception of her as a journalist but I would like to know if she has regrets.
