Fans who visited AMC Theatres over the weekend to see Spider-Man: No Way Home and other movies were quite surprised to see a shorter version of the exhibitor's iconic ad with .
The theater chain released the 60-second ad back in September, which played in theaters before every movie, but fans noticed over the weekend that it was replaced with a 30-second version.
That led several fans to voice their displeasure on , while some have even signed a petition asking AMC to reinstate the full ad.

The original ad started with Kidman arriving to an empty theater, removing the hood from her coat as she enters the theater.
The new version begins with Kidman already in the theater, with a few lines of her dialogue cut, including the apparent fan favorite, 'heartbreak feels good in a place like this.'
They even switched some of the movies Kidman watches in the empty theater, swapping out La La Land for A Star Is Born.

A petition was started on by Twitter user Americana Memes, who tweeted about the petition on Sunday.
'Hey @AMCTheatres, I was shocked to find out you edited down the Nicole Kidman AMC ad! The movie community is upset and angry! We are going to make our voices heard until you restore the original cut! #RELEASETHEKIDMANCUT' they tweeted.
The Twitter user added in the petition, 'You could say “Heartbreak DOES NOT feel good in a place like this!"'
